Following a transition period, Fraport assumed sole administration on January 2, 2018. This led to significant infrastructure upgrades, including a two-story terminal extension, a remodeled taxi and traffic area, and a redesigned road system featuring a new viaduct. These renovations were completed on April 14, 2020.
